    Schiano's incredible success in player retention

    Lou, this is exactly who Schiano is. Great Sunday to Friday, but a head scratcher on Saturday. You would have thought that his game day coaching would have improved from his first stint (same issues happened before such as over coaching), but I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

    This is all tongue in cheek based on Greg screwing up the end of the Illinois game just like Eberflus screwed up the end of the Bear's game.

    Greg’s Greatest Coaching Job Yet

    The issue with RU is that Schiano is a 9 out of 10 Sunday through Friday and a 3 on game day. I think he has improved his Sunday to Friday coaching from his first stint, but he has not improved his game day coaching at all and may have taken a step back.

    GS has always over-coached. He is a bad game day coach and until he let's others handle strategy RU is doomed to more endings like this.

    interesting that with all this recruiting going on the coach at Elizbeth was fired early this season for having his son transfer in from Cranford. High school sports (at least in NJ) are becoming the wild wild west.
