    You're better off grinding your own beans for it because you want a courser grind, most of what you pick up off a shelf is too fine. I don't know exact grind/water ratios because I go on autopilot for that part

    5-10 minutes. I'll usually grind a whole bunch at a time, filling that little jar, and then I keep it in the fridge for the next couple days. Some would say that defeats the purpose of grinding your own coffee, but whatever. The jar holds enough grinds for about 2 34oz. French presses
