    Cedar Rapids is NW of Iowa City. It's only about 20 minutes out of the way. But like I said in my previous post. Des Moines is a little drive but it's on the way and you'll have no trouble finding a room.

    Des Moines is less than 2hrs from Iowa City. You could always stay at my house. But my wife has a thing for Cowboys, so no hat's...or guns, except for mine. Seriously though, Des Moines is a nice place to stay if you want to have a nice hotel and dinner then get up for your drive back on...
