    What year did you become a Penn State fan? Kwalick or Warren?

    Became a fan in 1960 when Galen Hall was QB. Became a fanatic in 1967-70 when after the above mentioned UCLA game the team didn’t lose for the three years I was at PSU. Answer to the second question depends on meaning of “greatest,” and Brady certainly is a possible answer.

    Got invited to a wedding in Ensenada Mexico, would you go?

    There are a lot of great beach places in Mexico, as others have mentioned. Ensenada is not on most such lists for good reasons. But if you otherwise would go to this couple’s wedding nothing about Ensenada should keep you from going.

    58 years ago today

    Penn State lost two of its first three games (by a total of three points) after I checked in a year later and then never lost a game until after I graduated three years later. While unfairly denied a national championship those years rank among the best in PSU football history.

    Very off topic

    I grew up in Reading. Have lived in California for almost 50 years. A few years ago we drove by my childhood house and my wife suggested that we stop in. I said no because I wasn’t packing a gun that day. But i do have fond memories of growing up there. Just don’t want to visit.

    Chafie Fields PSU FB most explosive player?

    So was I. It poured that day and my wet wife was not happy until that play. The stop on 4th down after Miami didn’t kick a field goal made that catch and run a winning play.

    I was there too. Watching with my law school roommate, a Miami grad and our wives. Winner had to buy dinner at a very expensive Coral Gables restaurant. Very happy to pick up that check.
