Special Teams in 2026: A special concern?

It's just not that important if championships are not that important.

Special Teams in 2026: A special concern?

Like I said: delusional ! The offense has underperformed during nearly every year of KF's tenure.

Special Teams in 2026: A special concern?

You appear to be delusional. How did that specialty keep keep us from having the worst offense in college football for a couple of years.

    Football recruiting

Here is some, complements of another poster in another thread: So far we've landed a commitment from the lowest-rated QB we offered. Missed out on 14 of a total 15 Running Backs offered Missed out on 17 of 17 Wide Receiver's offered. Landed a commitment from our lowest-rated Tight End offer -...

    Football recruiting

For the last couple of decades, I've felt that the biggest program weaknesses were the offense and recruiting. The offense, if not in a complete turnaround, appears at least, to be on the road to recovery. Recruiting; not so much. We have been recruiting at an 8-4 level for years and continue...

Anyone worried about the LB situation?

Well, you are wordy, if nothing else. A couple of things you are overlooking. Just like players have differene levels of athletic ability, they also have different levels of moxie or instinctiveness. So some players don't need nearly as much experience to reach the same mental level as more...

Anyone worried about the LB situation?

That is such a tired phrase-and meaningless. The contention has always been "does that give us the best chance to win, or is that just what the coaches THINK gives us the best chance to win?".

    *****Alvaro Folgueiras enters the Portal*****

Before the tournament, there was a spirited discussion of him on this board. The views were almost polar opposites----some thought he was vital (maybe 75%) while others (25%) considered him to be a huge disappointment. I was closer to the latter. For an experienced player, I saw way too many...

    Dawn Plitzuweit

I have always considered MN to be an also-ran in women's basketball and so have not paid any attention to them. So that was my outlook entering the game the other night. MN was obviously in a zone. But beyond that, what really caught my attention was the quality of their coaching. Their schemes...

    Jennie B or Katie Abrahamson...

Yes. Hiring a successful assistant as HC compared to hiring successful HC as HC are worlds apart on the risk ladder.

    Jennie B or Katie Abrahamson...

You appear to have your head stuck in the sand. A HC without previous HC experience needs to be scrutinized very carefully. She is falling short in a number of areas. I won't call her a failure at this point, but we should be on high alert.

    Jennie B or Katie Abrahamson...

That makes no sense. A total of 4 years is more than enough to take a program from high level to virtual obscurity.

Then they should not be on the floor.

    No emotion no swagger

Having an unguarded player near the FF line and not even considering a shot is a killer and it happened several times. That's the equivalent of only having 4 players on the court.
