    If you can afford it, live in mobile or even better Fairhope. I have done significant work in Saraland and if you are a bachelor, the best choice is mobile/Fairhope. Fairhope is the "Mountain Brook" of the coast (don't mean that as a negative as some would think) and would make it worth it...

    Ugly dog. Good bar food and it's usually packed on football game days. Cool town. Great sights if you like hiking or waking up and having coffee on the back porch and hanging out. Old Edwards hotel is nice with a spa if you're into that.

    Question about 2015 gameday traffic

    I think they are about to close engineering row and make it walking only at least that's what my CE professor told me. You could turn left in between McKee and BK and go around and end up at the same intersection by the health center.
