    Live from Cleveland

Day 0 (travel day) was near perfect, easy-peasy bus trip to the city that brought us so many great memories in 2018. That year, fOSU and PSU were locked in a battle that wasn’t settled until Saturday night in the most spectacular of ways. That drama will NOT be the case in 2026, but the...

Most Satisfying to See Beaten Early, Badly or Both

Flipping the script, my cheering is reserved for all the good guys to win. I know, party pooper.

    The number is 4.

Hey dice, your post is right on, historically speaking, though PSU's performance during the Cael years is better than the average. From 1979 to Present; -- 4 times in 46 years, the winning team had exactly 4 individual champions -- 5 times in 46 years, the winning team had exactly 5 individual...

    Cleveland Meet-ups and Events

No, it's always been that way. Asked several years ago, and was told that it is a stand-alone platform with its own security. No Apple Wallet or Google Pay options at all. Must open your AXS app at the venue and scan from there.

    NCAA Bracket Release Show Results/Thoughts

I believe everything below to be accurate, some by memory, some looked up. Dates are close. 2009 to Present: 33 wrestlers exactly, one pigtail per weight class. Actually, there were a couple years where the brackets were considered 64-man brackets, everyone winning their first bout getting an...

How often do the wrestlers have to weigh in at nationals?

Two hours or sooner from the start of competition all days. A 1 pound allowance for days 2 & 3.

    NCAA Bracket Release Show Results/Thoughts

If the past is any indication, I predict many fans from every team will cry foul, even for legit seeds because the path traveled is a tough one. Yep, every wrestler's path is tough when competing against the best in the country. That said, there may also be a few situations that show up here...

    Undefeated Wrestlers Heading To Cleveland

With several previously undefeated wrestling losing this past weekend at their conference championships, following is the updated list of remaining undefeated wrestlers. Hope I didn't miss any. 125: Luke Lilledahl (PSU), Sheldon Seymour (LEH) 133: Jax Forrest (OKST) 141: Jesse Mendez (OHST)...

2026 B1G Tourney Session IV Thread

Christian said .009 seconds, pretty sure. Honestly didn't know they had time beyond hundredths of a second! Start at 11:50, it is within 15-20 seconds after. https://www.flowrestling.org/video/15608581-big-ten-finals-recap

Big Ten's to move away from "on-campus" Hosting of Big Ten's?

My comment was a question of attendance, especially with the NCAA Championships less than two weeks later. I do believe every Big Ten venue counts on folks that live close by for a portion of their attendance for B1G's. Season ticket holders as an example. A neutral venue (large arena) will...

Roar’s Annual Big Ten Seeding Review: 2026

... and round and round we go. I disagree, and that's ok. The schedule absolutely does "punish" Byrd with a lower seed. It is the only reason you are saying he is there, no other. Sorry, but Byrd started somewhere that Blaze didn't, and similar situations over many years have been handled the same.

    Fixing the Seeding Algorithm

Just a thought, as I've never seen an uproar like this. Go back to the coaches providing rankings, same as last year and many years prior. Then let them duke it out on Friday for the few problematic situations. Not perfect, just better.
