What is the best place to go eat BBQ?

DCD has the correct answer in the Memphis area. The lady from Memphis BBQ has won lots of competitions and the ribs are consistently some of the best I’ve had. I’ll also give a nod to The BBQ Shop on Madison Ave. One of my places in Memphis that doesn’t get as much pub, but is consistently...

Not gonna lie, the Balconies look GREAT.

I got one thinking it would be worth a shot to get in early in case they turn out to be great. Worst case scenario we get other tickets next year. To answer a few questions… 1. No grills 2. No propane or electric heaters 3. No banners, flags, or lights 4. Servicing is on Friday like other areas...

    Grilling/Drinking Time

Agree with finding some good ones at Kroger at times. Also, I baste mine in a butter/Tony’s mixture and smoke them at 250 for 30 minutes while brushing them with the mixture every 10 minutes. They come out perfect. Recipe credit to Malcom from How to BBQ Right.

    What pets do you have?

3 dogs... 2 Boxers (4 year old fawn rescue and 2 year old white with a few brindle marks) and a 3 year old rescue mix that looks mostly like a Pit. He’s blue and is probably the best dog we’ve ever had. One of his litter mates had the DNA test that said 75% Pit, 12.5% Boxer and 12.5%...

    Old Fashioned Recipes

Found some bitters that give it a little different kick from the standby Angostura (my usual go to). Made by Bittercube. I’ve tried the Blackstrap (cinnamon, Kola nut, Nutmeg) and the Bolivar (chamomile, jasmine, cinnamon, raisin). Both are excellent! They have others as well if you’re interested.

Is there anywhere that has hand sanitizer?

Get to Walmart as soon as they open on Sunday morning (7am for us in Desoto county) and go straight to the aisle where the hand sanitizer normally is. This past weekend they had someone handing it out (1 per person) from a buggy and it was full up to the top.

Who are the most vulnerable? Here are Louisiana death statistics from CV-19

You’re lumping every healthcare professional/physician into one group based off your experience alone. That doesn’t give an accurate picture. Also, you can’t really take what you’ve learned as an engineer and apply that to healthcare. Much like I can’t take my healthcare career and apply it to...

Who are the most vulnerable? Here are Louisiana death statistics from CV-19

As another poster mentioned there are 2 types of diabetes. Although type 2 is mostly related to being overweight, that’s not always the case. A simple google search will provide more scholarly journal articles and research studies than you care to read if you want to polish up on your knowledge...

Who are the most vulnerable? Here are Louisiana death statistics from CV-19

Actually, some of those aren’t preventable regardless of eating habits, sleep, or exercise, but don’t let facts ruin your post. Thanks for taking a shot at those of us with diabetes born with it.
