    Side note - am I the only one who thinks Ray and Anas get cheap fouls called on them routinely? The whistle sounds the minute they guard anyone in the paint it seems.

    In recent years it was almost the opposite. We could count on an early second half run no matter the score. Now we go into the offensive coffin at the same point in the game.

    Matz as a lefty makes him tougher to defend. And he is patient with his decision making. Spalding needs to get more time as we move forward. Anas has improved, but needs to stop bringing the ball down to the floor before making a move. In all, we got work to do shooting from outside.

    Confidence. I do not see any floor generals. I see 5 guys looking at each other and the bench for direction. Plenty of talent, that I think will bloom mid season into a top 10-15 team.

    I think he simply needs to be aggressive and use that muscle. Our bigs have been timid against anyone an inch taller since Gorgui left.

    The aggressive defensive play that has defined us over the last 5 years is not welcome in the ACC. Agree with others that the pre-emptive road whistle has to be addressed. Especially on Mahmoud and Spalding. While they are raw defensively at times, once they move in the direction of a ball...

    Game reminds me of the Big East type games we used to play

    Loved the defensive effort and letting them play. Unfortunately we don't get to play that aggressively on the road. The only change I would like to see is Mahmoud and Spalding to stop bringing the ball below their waist in the paint. Keep it over your shoulders.
