MD Anderson center update.
I have an appointment scheduled for April 4th. They are booked way out but I'm on the list in case something opens up sooner. The oncologist they assigned me has crazy impressive credentials (Harvard med, Johns Hopkins). Lots of published research.
Waiting for them...
And it wasn't like Kentucky played the game of their lives either. They shot 40% from the floor and what's likely their best player had 1 pt and 1 reb in 27 mins. That to me was the most impressive part of it.
I got them and thank you again so very much. Spent the last few hours with a bad migraine that's finally easing off. I'm gonna check out Buffalo Trace.
Thank you so much. From the bottom of our hearts. We will see if we can get together somehow or I can take my youngest and my brother can sit with our 12 year old. He loves time with his uncle and rarely gets it.

I have been talking to them for the last hour. They are getting my medical records so we can get the ball rolling.
Thanks to everyone for the recommendation. My oncologist basically just put me on the bog standard chemo treatment and told me I'm gonna die in 2-2.5 years. Didn't seem interested...
I just got off the phone with them. They are gonna have the colorectal team get back to me before the end of the week. It would mean having to get to Houston and Lord knows what all but whatever it takes we will cross bridges as they come. I'm not gonna give up on my boys or my wife.
We will be in town in the early afternoon on the 30th and leave on the 1st. Outside of the game and finding somewhere to watch Monday night football on the 30th we haven't made any plans yet. Probably be around the area our hotel is (Springhill suites) with the mall and everything close by...
Sorry to hear about your mother. Our family has been through a lot of loss in the last few years. My kids lost a grandpa, great grandpa (who raised my wife), and their 30 year old uncle who lived with us and took the boys to all the fun stuff my wife and I have trouble doing with our health...
