    Richlands won the Concord 7 on 7 today in Athens, WV. Beat Heritage 27-14 in the championship game and finished the day undefeated. Strong showing.

    What is your team doing this offseason?

    Exactly. They lift probably 330 days a year. They condition hard in the off season. Go to camps. 7 on 7s. And all of it shows when you look at our records since 2003. I don't think we've ended a season with less than 10 wins in that span. Maybe one year with 9.

    Haven't seen Richlands schedule yet, but they usually attend about 7-8 7 on 7s in several different states. They've also been lifting since the Monday after the loss to Appomattox. It's year round here. Always something to do.

    We have a freshman who had to come up from JV to fill a spot when we had a player suspended and now the player is back and the freshman is still on varsity and he has started some games since. This isn't the year for them. This is a year to get the experience needed to beat some of these teams...

    We have one down this way as well. Council High School. No football. Less than 200 total students.
