Season you've most looked forward to and/or excited about?

    1. 1984- Sam Bowie's return after sitting out for 2 LONG years!!! Frustrating end losing to Georgetown in the Final 4 but still a great season. 2. 2015- What can you say, 38-1 and the most overall talent EVER on one UK team. Again, a SAD ending, CRUSHING. 3. 1996- It had been 18 years since we...

Three of our high school targets sign with Adidas

After this, I think we are more likely to get Crowe. Hope we can pull in both, but I highly doubt it. This staff is reaching out to more west coast kids than we have since Tubby was here. Hope they can reel them in.

    Oweh update

And of course it’s a west coast team which means this thing is going all the way to the deadline.😩😩😩 Seems like we’ve had way more of these than any other program.

    Oweh update

Still didn’t have enough “Dudes” and allowed a loud mouthed KSU team and coach to knock us out.

    Pope on Perry's departure

Who's "upset"????? Most of us just think it's odd and are trying to figure out WHY the kid didn't make a statement. I hope the kid and his family doesn't feel like they didn't get a fair shake here. It will be interesting going forward tracking his progress at Ole Miss. I wish him nothing but...

    Pope on Perry's departure

It sure comes across to the fans and in regards to the coaching staff that he is leaving with a bit of resentment or feeling unappreciated. I hope that’s not the case, but it is extremely odd that he didn’t make a public statement.

    Oweh update

Oscar was national player of the year and came back to school. So what’s your point???

Braydon Hawthorne will announce his college decision in May 20, Kentucky in his top 5

Redshirt kids still count toward the 13.

Taylen Kinney will visit Oregon officially

This!!! With NIL, Coach Pope seems to value a player’s desire to come here AND fit over raw ability. This kid is from Kentucky which should make it easier to get a better NIL deal, but who knows. With how this staff is working in regards to recruiting, like others above have said also, I...

SIAP: Per SI UK is leading for Tay Kinney

Seems like a no brainer. This kid has the skill set that would flourish in Coach Pope’s offense. He has already played with Jasper and they were great together, so I look for him to be our first 2026 commit unless something extremely drastic happens.

Is Oweh’s return less likely ?

That would be the DUMBEST decision he could make. By returning to UK he would be the FEATURED player on a top 5 team that will be on national TV NUMEROUS times to promote himself. He would have the opportunity to become a 1st team All-American while working on his shooting and making WAY MORE...

Is Oweh’s return less likely ?

No doubt. It's EVERY players dream to make it into the NBA. But, I don't see ANY NBA GM seeing enough in Oweh "that makes his ears perk up". Just too many flaws in his game right now. But another year at UK as option #1, with MUCH better players around him, and he could become an ALL-American...
