    Mercy Rule reduced to 35 points

    I don’t like the reserves not getting as much playing time. They work hard too and deserve to see some action. If I were a coach and wanted my subs to play I might “bad snap” my extra points after a couple TD’s to keep it under 35. Again this is against inferior teams only just to let my guys...

    Crest @ Hickory

    Crest we feel ya! We got that beating last year. Hickory has a heck of a talent at QB. I’ve thought all along him and the East Forsyth QB were a class above the rest. I saw Ely when he came to ACR and I knew he wasn’t in their class but he is talented just not ACC ready talented.

    Shelby Lion I wasn’t talking smack, think I was taken the wrong way. I was saying why I feel Crest or Hickory would win. I can’t talk smack, we are watching games this week!

    We put 51 on Shelby with Crest current QB. I am a fan of Shelby and Crest both but Hickory and Crest both beat Shelby.

    Possible western 6A conferences

    Maybe I overlooked or just forgot but with fewer teams in each division have they said how many would make the playoffs. I’m sure it’s not set in stone but has there been an idea about this?

    Yeah, 2009 we beat them 9-8 on a horrendously muddy field. The week prior we beat Mt. Tabor 9-7. We went on to win State that year. We sadly don’t have that defense this year though.
