    2026 Phillies Thread

Hopefully not Mattingly - Donny baseball does not know how to use bullpen pitchers and lost several games because of this.

    Rocco Becht is playing injured.

More than at times - just overall bad, overwhelmed, not performing -- welcome to the Big 10

    2026 Phillies Thread

Donny baseball - take MacFarlane out after one inning - all-star closer for the 7th, 8th and 9th, this is not good - 2 outs, 3-2 count on batter in the 8th with a home run hitter up next - that's right the closer over-throws a pitch in the dirt and batter walks - then home run for ATL and Phils...

    Looking ahead

Franklin saw other coaches revised contracts and wanted another extension with a raise. -- He went over Kraft's head to the Pres and was rebuffed by Kraft - then fired .... good ending to his ego. You try that and see if you can get retained by your company.

I'm standing by my season prediction

Hopefully the 'Big 12 coaches' now realize this is not New Mexico State or Colorado State - and the Big 10 is a different talent level. Over confidence by the 'experienced' QB means the defense of Big 10 teams is much better than he has ever faced. And the new OC needs to learn just how the...

    Modern medicine, truly a miracle

Chum -- with all due respect to slwlion's description of parents and the era that made them - we as kids remember not having the accessories and pleasures of today's lifestyle. Yet -- we, from challenging beginnings are part of The Greatest Generation ! My Father graduated from ESSC in 1940 as...

    Modern medicine, truly a miracle

You are late to the party, but good to go now - carry on! Me - at 83 I am so tired of hospitals and OR visits, latest is a 6" scar on my back, they say they got all of the melanoma. Onward !!

AKB: tell me about your ‘25 ‘26 Tiguan

Audi has problems up and down the line - stay away. The S7 and soon the S8 are underpowered for their size. And I am not saying the VW is wonderful - wife has the 'R' series.

AKB: tell me about your ‘25 ‘26 Tiguan

Aspirated 4 cylinder with gear ratios to provide instant speed for its size and horsepower, if you drive with two feet (carry over from stick shift driving) brake and accelerator at same time - then a lack of power that has been criticized and the software has not been fixed. The car will float...

    Traveling to Big Sky Country

We stayed in West Yellowstone and entered Yellowstone via the west entrance. Travelled the 'loop' to see as much as possible - the Mud Flats, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Yellowstone Lake is immense and beautiful, Old Faithful is just that - it gushes water faithfully, and tour the hotel nearby...

    My Observations

Is it really possible to consider - #1 - in the past, Penn State coaches did not reveal all of the offensive plays in the scrimmage games - running plays especially #2 - has anyone really looked at the entire squad class rankings - Penn State is YOUNG, and hopefully we can keep the team together...

We won against Marshall - didn't we ..

How - When - Why - never seen this implied previously - maybe in Tennis during a set, but not MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA final scores. Just where do they do the reverse as you indicate.

We won against Marshall - didn't we ..

Tom - maybe you can get some answers and action. On this page - BWI: Penn State Nittany Lions Football & Basketball - the result of the Marshall game displays 0-45 on the Penn State schedule. This implies a loss rather than a 'W' even though they indicate a W. I have written to their office in...
