OT: Greatest Movie Quote of all time.

“We'll have us a little book barbecue in the yard. They'll see the flames for miles. We'll dance around it like wild Injuns! You understand me? Catching my drift?... Or am I being obtuse?”

Please coach our OL on how to block in a...

I’ve said it before and will again, the OL is the most important unit on the team. If they’re successful in their job, the passing game, running game and pressure on our defense (with longer drives) is evident. I cannot abide seeing three DL outplay our five OL anymore. Coach them better!

wide stance!! They were recruited to line up foot to foot and block. Now they’re a half yard away from each other and they’re lost! We either have to COACH THEM on this, or recruit smaller, quicker OL. So there. That’s the problem in my uninformed opinion.

The new NCAA rule allowing players to sell...

Yeah, well I guess I missed it. I check this board about 2 or 3 times a month. If it’s old news, 17 it. But I think it’s going to be a game changer.

The new NCAA rule allowing players to sell...

Well, here’s an example. Let’s say we target a 4 or 5 star guy and promise him we’ll put his face on billboards and give him X% of additional revenue to the athletic program. Is that against the new rule? Who the hell knows. But I assure you it will be tested. And we better be ready for it.

The new NCAA rule allowing players to sell...

Agree. But I think it’s the next big thing in recruiting, and I’m not sure we’re prepared for it. Maybe Leach realizes its potential.

The new NCAA rule allowing players to sell...

their image and/or make money from it is a BIG DEAL! Why isn’t there more discussion about it? You can bet that Kiffin, with his California background, is all over it, and will find a way to “legally” (per NCAA rules) get cash to 5-star recruits. Am I missing something?

    OT: Glacier National Park

Hiked there in 1980 with three friends. Crossed the continental divide on the hike. Saw some fresh dung on the trail and we all thought “I didn’t know they allowed horses on this trail”. Hour or so later a park ranger catches up to us and says there’s a rogue griz nearby. Mauled a couple of...

    O.T. Crystal Grill in Greenwood.

The Crystal Grill and Lusco’s will probably be sold in the next few years. Too damn bad, because they are both iconic restaurants with long family histories in Greenwood. I suppose all good things must come to an end. I remember eating at the Crystal Grill when I was a little kid in the mid...

    O.T. Crystal Grill in Greenwood.

You must have ordered wrong. Crystal Grill is one of the most consistently good restaurants in MS. Their fish is fresh and and the service is always spot on. Greenwood is lucky to have so many great restaurants like Crystal Grill, Lusco’s, Giardina’s and the Alluvian Bar. Wish my town was so...

    Egg Bowl Streak

Damn right. His name is Chut Billingsley and he is... Not only a huge Bulldog fan, but also a hero for his service to his country and his community. I hope this isn't his last Egg Bowl, but if he's alive he'll be there.

About the incomplete call in the UM-Vandy game.

He had control when his *** hit the ground. It was a catch. They got screwed, which is just fine with me. But if it had happened to us, you'd be livid. Let's just agree the SEC refs are inconsistent, to be polite. Let's just hope they don't have a make-up call Thanksgiving night.

I bet she closes her eyes during sex because she doesn't want to see you having a good time.
