    Well, having been in public schools for a long time, I can state that it is not limited to a particular culture, group or class. "Honor" kids are just as likely to throw down as any others.

    Sadly this is more and more common. Often after a fight the first stop is the office and the second is the sheriff's office. The good news is that both sides cool off and the charges usually get dropped. On a positive note the frequency of school fights is dwindling.

    Not got a dog in this fight, but many schools have had to forfeit games due to snafus such as this. If the state maintains the standards they have set, then it should include forfeits.

    I agree with most of your premise. I do think Hayesville may improve if they can get consistent QB play. Last year it was a revolving door. They had 4 different kids play the position and even had to start a FB/LB at QB in the Pisgah game. Probably 2 candidates for now, one was the JV QB last...

    I think Murphy might fill the bill. They need to improve at QB but the rest of their skill people are pretty good. They have size and experience on the line.

    Then state when, where and who. No reply will be recognized as yet another failure on your part. Remember those 2nd or lower teams can not be teams that were in a split conference and there by seeded as a #1.

    Run the numbers, it is remotely possible.. They could not be given a 17 or lower seed. To be a 17 or lower then the top 10 RPI would have to contain 6 or more teams than finish 2nd or lower. Have you ever seen this? Is so when? And it would have to occur in late season rankings.
