Has anyone tracked the number of guys who have declared for the NFL draft but still have/had eligibility remaining? Seems like an unusual amount going pro.
Only RU can find a way to be where they are with 2 of the top 5 incoming recruits in the country. If Harper and Bailey were on Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc. they’d easily be part of a top 25 team.
I wonder if this is premised in any actual knowledge of the considerations by the B1G and the Bowls themselves? There’s prognosticators saying Phoenix, RU now lobbying for Charlotte, and a writer now saying Nashville. Wild stuff.

Winning the B1G and making the playoff must always be the goal. However, 7-5/8-4 regular seasons in the NIL world we’re up against is something I think we can realistically be proud of. Especially if those seasons end in Nashville, Tampa, Orlando, etc.
To think these kids spend time in the hospital between games and then come back off a Bye, etc. Can’t imagine as a parent, family member, etc. what that must be like.
