    The Committee Basically Admitted...

Based on how Florida (2011) & Tennessee (2024) were seeded in their respective tournaments, winning the regular season SEC Title seems to matter more to your NCAA resume than winning the SEC Conference Tournament! That's why Tennessee is the highest seeded SEC Team this year. Every year, the...

Why Is Villanova a 2-Point Favorite over Oklahoma?

I like both of these teams. May the best team win the championship, too!

'Nova Guard "Gets a Lot of Hate for Being the White Guy"

Ryan Arcidiacono really wanted to be a Florida gator and play for Billy Donovan. It didn't happen because both his mother and sister in Philadelphia cried and Arcidiacono committed to Villanova and Jay Wright. After that, Florida never had a chance...

Whats up with OSU, Grandstaff gone

Probably just going through a rough spell in recruiting. It can happen to any good coach.

Lon Kruger one of the most underrated coaches

Kruger has a very talented team at Oklahoma and should make noise in the NCAAs. This could be his best chance to get to the Final4 again! I am very proud of Lon Kruger's association with Florida. He was in a chain of coaches that did great things at Florida: Norm Sloan - took UF to 1st three...

    New BPI: #1 Purdue, #3 UL, #9 Duke, #16 Vandy, #17 UK

They (#56, 60) are not too far off your Arizona St.(#43) win and those teams have a chance to win their conferences. Florida did not play as many total bad teams as Kentucky so there is the slight penalty there for the cats. However, UF just played their toughest opponents to date and will get...

    New BPI: #1 Purdue, #3 UL, #9 Duke, #16 Vandy, #17 UK

I'll give you another example of bad scheduling. Ole Miss (7-2) has a good record but a poor rpi/bpi whatever. According to rpi for Ole Miss (http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_359_Men.html ), the rebels have scheduled five teams with an rpi > 245 and one more who is > 300. As for quality opponents in...

    New BPI: #1 Purdue, #3 UL, #9 Duke, #16 Vandy, #17 UK

My bad. According to rpi, VU's best wins were #41 Detroit and #53 Wake Forrest. The BPi rankings are a little confusing to follow. http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_363_Men.html

    New BPI: #1 Purdue, #3 UL, #9 Duke, #16 Vandy, #17 UK

Richmond and St Joes. Purdue was a neutral site game and Miami/Michigan St were back to back road games. Florida did not schedule too many bad rpi teams (i.e, >200, >300). Most of the opponents are top 100 or 100-200. The worst teams on UF's schedules are LSU (212), Miss St (210), Jacksonville...

    New BPI: #1 Purdue, #3 UL, #9 Duke, #16 Vandy, #17 UK

From the SEC, the BPI has the following teams: #15 South Carolina (8-0): Best win #45 Oral Roberts #16 Vanderbilt (6-3): Best win #62 Arizona St #17 Kentucky (9-1): Best win #9 Duke. #21 Florida (6-3): losses to #1 Purdue, #4 Michigan St, & #12 Miami. SOS- #8, Best win #65 Richmond, #99 St Joes...

    White Chocolate was that MAN

During his brief career at Florida in 1998, he had a lot of spectacular games: - in his first game at UF, I think he broke the single game assist record with over twenty assists. - he led UF to an incredible upset of the eventual national champs Kentucky in Lexington. Had he not got kicked out...

Eeesh, SEC takes a step back tonight

Indeed. Congrats on Kentucky defeating Duke. The wildcats looked much faster than the blue devils. Texas A&M and Vandy have challenging nonconference schedules. It will be interesting to see if they can get some key wins to help out the overall rpi of the sec!

Eeesh, SEC takes a step back tonight

Looking at LSU's nonconference schedule, I don't see how any basketball team with a pulse could lose. LSU doesn't play anybody in the nonconference (no one in the current top25): Marquete, Houston, Wake Forrest, & much later OU. http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_358_Men.html Vanderbilt's nonconference...
