I understand satire. We stepped into a buzz saw of three-point baskets. It was ugly. But we were there; only two other teams (‘Nova and Michigan) had a better season than the Jayhawks.
Schwaggy is a big boy. Doesn’t need you to wipe his nose. And if we lay an egg in the Final Four, it is still a better season than most. Plus, Kansas picks up at least five games on the all-time NCAA victories list.
Don’t confuse Schwaggy Pee with logic. He is so blinded by his hate of all thing Kansas he wouldn’t recognize the truth if it bite him. If you read all the posts opinions are pretty evenly split between Charge and Block. That is with the benefit of slow-motion replay. Plays like this happen...
I am not sure he would have gone to the NBA after his freshman year. Maybe. Maybe not. He wasn’t prepared. He is better at Kansas because he failed at Miss State. He is ready now. His play in the Tournament may have earned his way into the draft.
What Newman learned over his Redshirt year and this season was to play without the ball in his hands. He has been a stud for the second half of the season. Without him today, Kansas goes home; Duke goes to San Antonio.
Great thing about being a tee-shirt fan...while others spend four years and thousands of dollars to have a degree and get a nice paying job, you just buy a tee-shirt. The downsides no degree and job.
