    I work for a Fortune 500 company and we do in fact of a geo-location difference for “high” Cost of living states for the same job. The “band” is 10% higher for those jobs on NJ, NY, Boston, CA and a few others....

    OT: Looks like Rutgers not the only P5 with difficulty getting transfer waivers.

    They are not graduating in 3. They are mostly graduating in 4. You have 5 years to play 4. So if you redshirt 1 year and graduate on time in 4 years you will have played 3 years and have 1 year of eligibility left.

    I just came back from a 3 year ex-pat assignment. Everything is possible and you just need to know what you are willing to push for. So first I am assuming you are an American Citizen if so - then make sure you are tax equalized. Also you should ask about location or hardship allowances...
