    Good insight. Seems like defense is a premium in the Swine Valley conference and 3A at large. Every kid wants to just score and rack up stats/highlights.

    After pummeling everyone on the way to a 2024 record of 13-1, East Forsyth dropped several close games in 2025 including to rival West Forsyth in OT en route to their conference championship.

    As if losing to the eventual state runner up by 2 points wasn't bad enough 😭 EA lost every conference game last year by less than a 2-score margin.

    Wallace-Rose Hill deserved far better in 2025 😭 Heartbreaker losses to Kinston, Midway, and Pender Co. (2OT) propelled them to the 2nd unluckiest team in the state in 2025.

    East Wilkes and CSD deserved far better in 2025 than their record showed. All 4 of East Wilkes losses came within 7 points (2 within a field goal).
