    And I did not see Shamari Brooks in the first half either. Was the point to punish those specific players, the whole football team, Tulsa University, the city of Tulsa or all of the above. It certainly did not help team morale or encourage future attendance.

    Encountering the "perfect storm" can be disappointing but do not forget that our schedule was third toughest in the nation last year and AAC placed three teams in the tip 25.     I thought the FG might not have been necessary had we used TK Wilkerson on short yardage situations near the goal. He has been near unstoppable--like Alex Singleton.

    Something that Jerry Rhome said years ago has always stuck with me. He said he "considers every down a potential touchdown". It made me sick to see Monty call for taking a knee for the final three downs before half time in the OSU game.
