    ONO

I worry about the scrambling the most with Ono. He's too quick and too powerful for getting out to be a huge issue IMO, but the scrambling in folk is definitely a different level than it is in free.

I apologize. He's definitely leveled the playing field as promised.

    EARLY 2026-27 lineup projections/discussions

I would be shocked if Kasak either would or could make the cut to 149 any more. We'll see, I guess.

Sandusky will die in jail where he belongs. I don't know what more you want at this point.

NEWS: 2027 pledge Sonny Amato announces decommitment

So, you're saying yes, that one time, Tom desperately wanted a sexual assaulting, nearly fatal crash causing, teammate attacking, parents' section bird flipping BPD sociopath in the worst way possible and it was Beth who had the integrity to put a stop to it. But, to be clear, only one time...

    Iowa news

Simply tossing money around wasn't the cause, but it isn't a solution, either. Only DT has it actually figured out thusfar. Only DT.

    EARLY 2026-27 lineup projections/discussions

Blaze looked long and lean last year like he would be able to hold more weight pretty easily. It makes sense to move up and quit cutting weight if he's thinking 65 for the Oly trials instead of 57, which would be a pretty nasty cut.

Transfer Portal 2026 + Other team movements

Yeah, me too. Last year leading up to the annual Iowa - Ok St dual, I said DT will have his team peaking at the end of the year, will boat race Iowa in the rematch, and will overperform at NCAAs to come in a commanding second and establish Ok St as a legit title contender going forward. I got a...

It wasn't skill related in HS or college. Maybe in the Olympics. In both HS and college, it was a combination of recklessly wrestling through injuries and between the ears.

    Next Years Lineup

Not that it matters a lot for your analysis, but the general feeling in PSU circles is that Duke is done at 157, so it will be Kasak (if healthy) or James if he can make the cut or Sealey at 157. My opinion is that it's likely 157 James, 165 MM, 174 Duke for PSU this year.

You're right, they should, LOL, but I immediately thought "who is someone who's weight was all over the place?" to answer the question, and Truax is the answer to that. He redshirted at 149 and 4 years later placed at 197.

The Mount(s) Rushmore of NCAA Wrestling

Truax is the first that jumps to mind. Edit: Truax also qualified at 4 different weights as well, but only wrestled in the tournament at 3 because of Covid.
