    Reidsville’s defense was much better than Kingston’s. And Shelby’s defense was much better than Brevards. Comparing apples to oranges.

    Overlooked in this game was the play of Tyson Broadway. He was severely criticized by the Ram fans for his mistakes in the West Craven game. He came back with a strong game and was awarded the offensive MVP.

    Successful programs draw good players both for the championships and the access to scouts and scholarships. In my opinion programs like Reidsville and Shelby will continue to be successful.

    Rams defense was amazing tonight especially the D-Line. Solid play by the dbs as well. Samalu(sp?) had two hammer shots. Pruitt strip sack and Kendre knocking down passes were highlights for sure!

    Michael Smith was impressive too. After what happened last year with Cobb I think they saved him for the playoffs.

    He was playing with the 2nd string line in those appearances. JV was mostly running back by committee . He had some really nice runs. Don’t have any stats.

    Interesting rematch East Surry/West Stokes. West Stokes coach came from East Surry. Schools are very close to each other.

    R-S Central at Reidsville round 1

    Freshman Henry isn’t Cobb yet but running behind that big offensive line he showed a lot of promise. He’s pretty good on defense as well. Sophomore Devonte Campbell had some punishing runs late in the game too. Several others had some good moments. Need them to offset the passing game.

    Reidsville # 1 Seed is bogus….again.

    West Stokes and Walkertown in our conference were highly ranked at the end of the season and our conference sent 6 teams to the playoffs. Our non conference schedule is made up of 3A and 4A teams that will play us. Hope Shelby gets to make trips up here again in football and basketball.
