    Buy/Sell: Cubs and Brewers

The Sabathia deal is just the beginning of the end of the Cubs this year. I say sell, but I'm nervous. The Cubs have been outstanding most of the year, but they have not been very good away from the friendly confines, and Kerry Wood as the back end of the bullpen is a little disconcerting. It...

    Uh Oh Cardinal fans...

You got to keep in mind that the Cards are paying Mulder a huge amount of money. I'm sure that LaRussa played an important role in getting him there. So I'm guessing he feels a little pressure to get him back in the rotation.

Jamont- Maybe it's just a coincidence

Who made the pass to Hans at the end of the South Carolina game this year???

    Irish Style Beatdown

I hope now we can finally put to bed the notion that Kobe is equal to Michael Jordan. I don't recall any of Jordan's teams getting destroyed in a playoff game of significance. Kobe is just another really good player, not that there is anything wrong with that. He is what he is, a great offensive...

    Oregon breakdown

remind anyone of Auburn? They play a smaller, athletic line-ups that like to shoot the three. The good thing is that we played well against Auburn twice this year; however, I do realize that they are better than Auburn (just similiar in make-up).

It's unreal how many teams are poor at free throw shooting.

Which would explain how Rip Hamilton went from a good, solid college player to a great (all-star) NBA player.

    Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. Clemson

I stand corrected in my semi-defense of Bowden. Thanks for the clarification.

Do athletic scholarships pay for room and board if you live off campus?

take up for Bowden (I don't really care for him), but I've heard that he offered Ray Ray a grad. assisstant position to help him work toward his master's degree. If that's true, it's not really so bad, but if not, well Costanza pretty much said it all...

    BUY/SELL

if that team has done something worthy of being in the most important tournament of the year. Like when George Mason lost their conference tournament after winning the regular season title, and was thankfully granted an at-large bid, which subsequently led to their Final Four run. A run which...

    BUY/SELL

but the fact is that it results in mediocre teams making the most important tournament of the year. We are talking about our national championship. It would seem to me that the integrity of the NCAA tourney is somewhat compromised when the 34 (at large bids) can't be handed out to the best 34...

Lack of FT shooting could doom our Dogs per CL..

Ben should always shoot our technical free throws, especially after the USC game.

    BUY/SELL

easier to add a few games to the regular season and have everyone play twice (at least in the SEC) like the Pac 10 does. That way there is no question, and a one game play-off would be unnecessary.</p>

Lack of FT shooting could doom our Dogs per CL..

that he hasn't done that? I guess he should hold their hands into the gym, leave so it's not considered practice, and set up a surveillance camera in order to insure that they do it...welcome to 1984.
