    I didn't choose teaching or coaching as a career... but the NEW requirement in Richmond County did spark an interest in the requirements set forth by other counties. I urge you to check those out while sitting in your classroom before you make statements that are so broad

    That is not typical. In fact, most schools in NC AND SC with recent/current vacancies for head coach do NOT require head coaching experience.

    The point is that even Dabo - with all of his experience as an assistant - didn't help lead Clemson to a national title while he was in that role... but that obviously didn't say a thing about his ability to serve as a head coach. In no way was I saying Denson is of the same caliber as Dabo.
