What's Your Favorite Summer Vacation Spot??

Bass Lake, Indiana. Growing up, my grandparents owned a cottage on the lake and every summer as soon as baseball season would end, I'd go live with them until football practice started...

So which 2019 names are schools missing out on?

Follow up on Rita K/P Gavin Mottl ... committed to Miami of Ohio.

    Seriously.......

Malvern Prep Dunbar St. Pats Rich Central JCA Richards Those have been Rita'a first 2 games the last 4 years. I looked it up. I don't think any of those teams above had less than 5 wins and were not a playoff team each year ...

So which 2019 names are schools missing out on?

I follow Rita and I know their K/P Mottl has not committed anywhere yet. 4 year Varsity starter, made every clutch game winning kick over his HS career. If you go to a Rita game, he puts on a show during warmups & halftime with 55-60+ yrd FGs & 75-80+ yrd punts. Kickoffs are mostly touchbacks...

Final 2018 Chicagoland Top 30 poll is here

Also need to factor in season playing time for a CCL Blue team vs. other conferences. With every week, every game being competitive in the CCL Blue, those CCL Blue starters play every down, even against a "down year" team like Rita this year. Rita stayed within a score or 2 of every game...

    2019 Success factors

You'll prob hate this idea but why not take every playoff qualifyers' playoff win percentage over a recent timeframe, say the last 4 years or so and rank each team per class for the playoffs that way. 8a is the top prize anyway so if you are Naz, Montini, JCA, etc.. then your regular season is...

    Prep Bowl

It was a strange season. Those 6 losses were to 4 teams playing tomorrow, a team that came within 3 points of playing tomorrow and another state playoff qualifyer and Rita was within 1 or 2 scores in every game except maybe the Loyola loss. It's good to see the players finish a tough season on...

Rita vs. DLS: did Rita have toughest schedule?

Rita sophs did well with that same schedule so they'll be fine. I think I'm missing the point of your comment too ... nobody is saying Rita got screwed or treated unjustly in any way just that they played a tougher regular season schedule which was recognized due to the success of over half of...

Rita vs. DLS: did Rita have toughest schedule?

With all 5 of those semi-finalists, SR also had 2 more playoff qualifying teams to play with Providence & DLS (5-4 missed playoffs on points). They beat DLS & stayed within 1, 2 scores of everyone except Loyola this year too. Really tough schedule ... but that's CCL football ...

    SR troubles again

Rita can lose 2 more and make the playoffs and one of those will be the Loyola game. So that means they can lose one more only out of DLS, Providence, Montini, Rice & Laurence. Hope they can figure it out this week.

    Hilltoppers 20 St. Rita 7 @ Halftime

JC has a big line, good RBs, ran all game, attempted 1 pass play all game (that was incomplete). The rain & wind made it so each team could only move the ball, kickoff, punt, etc.. when with the wind for both teams. Rita looked out of sync most of the game, dropped passes, trouble getting...
