    "Why Not Us"

I turned it off after 5-1. It was making me sick. Who scored our 2nd goal?

    "Why Not Us"

This was (not likely anymore), the mantra of the US men's national soccer team. I'm sure it referenced their outsized chance to win the World Cup in June this year held in the States, Mexico & Canada. However today, our lads played the Belgium national team in a friendly in Atlanta & got...

CP will likely stick w/ Milan IF! they qualify for ChLg, and that goes for any other club eyeballing him. In the EPL, only Liverpool is a lock for that, and with interest in Pulisic since Salah will likely be gone by next season. Don't know about McKennie's feelings for the ChLg but imagine...

    USMNT New Era

Here's some futbol news during the TU Hoops swoon: Wes McKinnie is lighting it up for Juve. He's scored 7 goals, with 3 of those in the ChLg, along with 4 assists in only 22 appearances. His contract is up this season & Juve are now trying to sign him, for a change. A possible reunion with...

A couple of defensive gaffs by Leeds late in the game causes a 4-3 loss, but does not detract from Aaronson's brace. He is tied for the Prem. lead for goals in 2026 with 3 (vs Man Utd & Newcastle) plus 1 assist. Who would have thunk it? Pochettino surely must be watching.

This really sucks! It's a suspected MC ligament tear. If so, he can forget the rest of the season & of course the WC. He was 2nd in the Prem in interventions & top 10 in tackles. Man Utd had been eyeballing him closely. ...."Tyler is massive for us" Ariola, his Bournemouth coach.

Today, CP solidifies the simple fact that AC Milan is his team. Yesterday, he has flu-like symptoms and does not go with his team to Turin for a Serie A match. He feels better this morning and joins the team on the bench. Milan go down 2-0 in the 1st half. Milan get a goal back and Pulisic...

    USMNT New Era

The only worry I have in this group is that Aussie thug who twice laid out CP in that "friendly" a few months ago. Put him on the shelf for 5 weeks. Avoid this dude & we might win the group, 2nd at least.

Haji Wright is 3rd in the EFL in scoring for Coventry with 8. Interestingly, a teammate of his is 1st in scoring with 10. Frankie Lampard has Coventry in 1st place in the English 2nd Division. If they keep it up, Wright will likely be playing in the Prem next season.

    USMNT New Era

Haji Wright leads the EFL in scoring as does Pulisic in SerieA. Milan's Sunday match vs Wes McKinnie & Juve will be a doozy. If you get Para+, CBS Sports or the freebie=DAZN, check it out at 1:30 pm.

All 11 of those who started vs US last night were replacements from the starters vs Mex. Thus my joy with the win is tempered by this. Today, Pochettino has already listed 4 MLS guys who will be called up for the WC. Freeman, Arfsten, Roldan & Zendejas. Uh Oh! I imagine there will be other...

Their QB hit about 20 of those short crossing patterns in the 2nd half. What's the definition of insanity, again?

5 in 6 and 6 in 5. Haji Wright for Coventry and Sarge for Norwich. At least Sargent was called up but Wright was not. Both are in the English Championship. Poch has caught the MLS disease and apparently believes it's the better League. One can only hope he recovers from this sickness before...
