    They will say its sour grapes or whatever, but I don't care. Obviously, every team's fans are homers and complain about refs. But in my 20ish years of following Big Ten basketball, no fan base even comes CLOSE to the whininess of Purdue. They are truly elite. Just on another level.

    I like nasty, aggressive chants, but I also want a little bit of subtlety. F U MILLER was funny, but I didn't like it because NU needs butts in the seats and I don't like anything that might discourage parents with kids from coming to games. "SVU," "DUI," etc. were all great, fair game chants...

    Illini fans on the internet acting like losing to Northwestern is as bad as losing to Northeastern. Just laugh at them and move on. They're genuinely excited that they beat big bro in football this year. Let them have it, they deserve some joy.
