    Impact of expanded playoff

They need to scrap this 24 team playoff and go to an NFL system. Pick the top 36 schools and divide into 2 leagues or conferences. Everyone is independent and a stand alone program/franchise. Then you break out into divisions that are geographically based. How do you pick the top 36? Get...

Overall, I happy with what I am seeing this year

This is a low bar and goes without saying. Doesn't make me feel one iota more confident about Campbell.

Overall, I happy with what I am seeing this year

He doesn't get a free pass. Becht is terrible this year. Campbell needs to take some responsibility for that. He's the HC, the 4 year QB now is losing games for you. That falls on coaching. The O-Line is listless. The D-Line is worse than listless. No defensive adjustments. Yes, weak...

How are we going to be competitive?

Kraft has done a poor job, no doubt. However, denying BGJ the undeserved raise was a good move. No one can convince me that we should still have BGJ.

    Locksley Fired

Who knows but I can see us finding a way to lose to them and in the process making it a career highlight for the interim coach.

    Dixon too.

    Locksley Fired

In other news, Maryland gets renewed energy with its coaching change and beats Penn State for only the third time since 1966.

How are we going to be competitive?

I have always contended that we should have canned BGJ after that stunning run of the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Iowa 2021? Illinois 2021? Fond memories. 2022-2024 cemented the narrative of never being able to win a big game. Then 2025.

Mouser: "We aren't going to be able to keep Manske off the field this year"

Don't count on it. That is why I think we can't screw around here thinking Manske is our savior/answer at QB. Prioritize a top and proven QB in the portal and pay him. Then do what we can to fill in around him at a couple other high areas of need (RB on offense) DLine and LB. We won't have...

Mouser: "We aren't going to be able to keep Manske off the field this year"

What LB do we have for next season? Rojas won't return, he'll go to the NFL.

    Locksley Fired

Great recruiter? Did he ever get much talent even before NIL/pay for play took over? Yes, I know he has landed some high end talent over the years and I know Chop Robinson was there but overall I don't think of him as a great recruiter. On the other hand I have serious doubts about Campbell...

Are we all in agreement? Krafty Kraft needs…

Need to boost NIL. A new AD could conceivably do that especially if the current base of big donors have lost confidence in Kraft. The team won't be much better after Campbell's third year so why wait on firing Kraft? His hiring actions (defections from the program) set the program back, he...

    The conversation needs addressed immediately

We should be 2-2 in conference. Campbell should have beaten Wisky and either USC or scUM.. Those were winnable. 0-4 was not some foregone conclusion. His game coaching is poor and he is clearly failing with Becht. Also, I'm not sure why we made NW look like the 49ers. Get a high end portal...

    The conversation needs addressed immediately

Yes or he better. Manske must not be lighting it up at practice and is not pushing for playing time or he would have gotten in or at least be considered. Do you really want Manske starting for us next season? He was going to go to ISU and we see that their talent level is not good enough. We...

    A different take on Roco

Sowell is a Campbell guy. He was the best player on the field. Too bad that is the only Campbell guy that can play.
