    44-21. According to a sports writer that’s Franklin’s record against the Top 10. I never heard that before just his record against the Top 5. 44-21 against Top 10 teams is outstanding.

    On an equal footing with OSU? Not from a talent standpoint. OSU was routinely in the top 5 in recruiting and Penn State was around 15th. In his last year was there any Penn Stater who thought we had talent equal to OSU?

    No mention of the man who fired up the Belgian team? The team that mocked him and posted OVERTURN THIS. The more motivated team won and our team was flat. Who cares what would happen if they played 10 times? They had one chance and the other team rose to the challenge.

    About the play calling. At VT Franklin said he has never made a call in a game at Penn State or Vanderbilt. He said it quite emphatically. Can’t prove it or defend it but he said that. I’ll be happy when this thread gets back to recruiting and abandons this perpetual bickering.

    Yeah this worked out so much better this way. An unimaginably awful recruiting year. And the exodus of players and coaches hasn’t begun yet. It will take years to recover from this hasty decision. All those who cheered his firing will enjoy the next few years as much as the last 52 days.
