OT: Thoughts on the growing prevalence of Flock surveillance cameras

The major difference is in most states to access that data police need to obtain a search warrant. It not the fact that the tool is out there that a lot of people have issues with. It the fact there is no gatekeeping for proper use.

Rutgers doesn’t win enough because most of you don’t donate enough

They started writing those checks when they went out and found a winner as a coach. They didn't stick with a loser and make non stop excuses and say this is the best we can do. They hired a winner who inspired people to open their wallets.

Rutgers doesn’t win enough because most of you don’t donate enough

A better question is why would anyone throw money at a career loser? Why would you invest in a program lead by a guy who is 99-108 and has never won anything of signifgance? You say all he needs is money but even when his time at the NFL is proof he still cant win even when money is equal...

OT: Anyone else think Rutgers is absurdly expensive?

I always felt they calculate finacial aid backwards. The cost of the college should not depend on the cost of the school, You should qualify for a fixed amount which should be capped. As is now if based on income my expected family contribution is $5k if I got to State U for $30k I get $25k...

OT: Rutgers Offers a Course on Bad Bunny's Music and Culture of Puerto Rico

This is one of those courses that if you get past the shock of the headline is a great learning tool. I guarantee those students will likely retain more that was taught in that class than they do in a typical history course. This reminds me of an elective I took in high school which was...

Athletics Debt, FSU tells Rutgers to hold their beer

That was not a one year deficit. That is total athletic debt which if you pay attention closely FSU just finished a $265 million stadium renovation and built a $138 million facility. So of course they are going to have a ton of debt. The one year budget deficit was $33.9 million.

    OT: PSU hockey

That story just seems tooo convienient. I have no doubt that the other party was an instigator but I do think this version of the story is a stretch. I have a feeeling that it was woven to protect his NHL future.

    Pitt Resizing Acrisure Stadium Seating

The NFL business model doesn’t rely on donations and being tax free. Exclude too many political schools and you risk losing tax free status along with antitrust suits.
