    It wouldn’t shock me if he is hired by week’s end. Franklin will then poach recruits and probably even current roster players and Pat Kraft will look like a complete fool. I hope I am dead wrong, but I see this turning out better for Franklin than PSU.

    Loyalty ended when teams started paying players. I wish it weren’t so, but sadly I think expecting loyalty from players anymore is a fool’s errand. Allar was loyal and look what it did for him. It potentially ruined his football career.

    Sure, but he put his heart and soul into this job and it blew up in his face. He loves the kids and PSU (his home state school) and feels like he failed them. No amount of money can truly heal that sort of wound.
