    2026 Pirates Thread

    Cruz leading the NL in homeruns.....has hit 3 against lefthanded pitching.....maybe the light is turning on for Mr. Cruz. Pirates finally have some pieces......... stay competitive, add another bat for the second half. Could be a year to be in top 2-3 in NL.

    Not hard to see Campbell is bulking up in the trenches like many have wanted for years...

    As an example: 1990 Football Schedule: USC, Texas, Alabama, Pitt, ND along with BC, Syr, WV....... and played FSU in a bowl. For 1990 time period, pretty tough schedule. Pitt often in top 10 play them every year.....WVU real strong every 3 or 4 years.

    The Rock n Roll hall of fame needs to slow down their inductions. they will run out of HoF worthy bands. In 10 years these bands will all be the headliners for the induction. Name more than 5 slam duck bands for HoF in the last 10 years. You can get there with Rap, with Folk, with Country...

    Big 10 Network although begrudging at first to the strength of the PSU Wrestling Program.......Sparks and Gibbons have become our 2nd and 3rd best sales person after Coach Cael. I like Shane's passion.

    I voted for Brink. There was a scramble late in the first where I think that he thought that he was going to score and Calienda escaped for no points. Mitchell smiles as if to say well done Michael. Mitchell is an odd duck, but so glad that he is our odd duck.

    Question: Why did Rocco only have a 27 second hold time in OT.....he held down Ferrari the whole period, I did not understand why he did not get credit, thought that those 3 seconds but be the reason that he would lose.......... it was not explained very well by the usually spot on Big 10 TV...
