Tennessee game and other College Football Games yesterday

Tennessee's defense is good enough for them to make the playoff. Freshmen QB hurts them. My point was about Tenn's Defense. True or false: Virginia Tech is running a drop back passing scheme and posting 460 yards....... that is all that I am saying.

    PSU vs USC.

The frustrating part for me is the lack of the one trait that I thought that we would have and that is toughness and desire. Our OL Coach preaches fighting the DL, firing out, moving bodies and there appears to be talent on the OL, but in Big 10 play they have not been able to move anybody...

Tennessee game and other College Football Games yesterday

Watched a Jim Knowles Defense attack the entire game as Tennessee beat Auburn. Middle line backer Amari Campbell with 9 tackles and a sack. The best Defensive player for UT is Xavier Gilliam who has 4 sacks on the season and is a Captain for UT. Also Lane starts at Safety for Tennessee. So...

Worst rush defensive performance since the MSU game in 1997?

I remember an MSU game where a PSU runner could have run for 600 yards if it was needed. Larry Johnson had 270 yards and sat for two quarters.

    FC/OT: Is Cory Giger right?

NW might be the 3rd or 4th best team in Big 10 this year. the Big 10 is down this year, but NW is a good solid, well coached team. they are also tough. If you can play decent defense and run the ball you can win anywhere. I thought that this description would be PSU......... not NW. The...

Worst rush defensive performance since the MSU game in 1997?

the other part that hurt is that if we played NW 10 times they win at least 9 of them. This was not an upset, this was the better coached, better team doing what they are supposed to do, to a less talented, less hungry team. Toledo beat PSU in 2000 and their coach Greg Pickel said that the...

Worst rush defensive performance since the MSU game in 1997?

The lack of toughness is what hurts the most watching the game. I saw alot of our defensive players make decisions based upon not getting hurt. The team would attempt to go around the pulling guard instead of holding their ground. You can have a team that is not talented but still be tough...

    Tengwall & Buchignani Wisky recap

bounce back game on Friday.......I think that we win against a pretty good NW Team.

Tengwall’s breakdown of the 4th quarter

We lost to Wisconsin because of how bad Wisconsin offense looked in the first quarter. The PSU Coaching Staff did not think that it was possible for Wisconsin to score 17 points in the game....... and so we were content to run into their strength and miss on the few long distance passes...

Hard to learn much from Buffalo Game - but some things that I noticed

read in some articles that maybe Rapp is ok and actually could have played again yesterday but they kept him out......great news, lets see how he feels today. We will need his toughness and attitude.

Lets discuss the Wisconsin game. Your concerns?

Rocco, you played well yesterday. Welcome to the board. Any insight that you can give without violating team rules would be awesome. ; )

Hard to learn much from Buffalo Game - but some things that I noticed

    1) Zay is a great returner. I want to see him on offense more as a short pass to him can go the distance and he showed good hands yesterday on a catch and knock on wood, has caught punts successfully. Very Explosive. 2) Speaking of Explosive Koby Howard continues to wow. Also showed great...
