Is it just me, but are ticket sales lagging?

I'm on an email chain where someone was offering up their room at The Graduate Hotel for the USC weekend......$1600 per night for a double queen.

Operation Market Garden, 82 yrs ago today.

"A Bridge Too Far" is a great book.....and movie. (copied from another source): After the Battle of Arnhem, there was only one person who thought Market Garden was a success. Montgomery stated that Operation Market Garden was a 90 percent success. After all, the Allies had managed to conquer...

Been trying to figure out where those arrested are from. Saw that one major player and his dad (a law student and lawyer, respectively) are from Pittsburgh, but that at least six others are from NY or NJ. My point: Maybe this is the downside of accepting so many out-of-state kids that clearly...

What a stupid *** statement. SAE and KDR never had that same reputation.

The actives don't own the house, so it's not their "asset". How could it be seized? That's like saying the AG can seize an apartment building, hotel, rental property, etc. if anyone is caught with drugs there.

2025 NLWC Golf Classic - State College

Figured for sure someone from the area would be going. It's an old thread and perhaps went unnoticed? I might be passing thru SC between now and then and could just drop them off at the pro shop.

The Annual Best Philly Cheesesteak Thread!

I voted for Angelos, but wanna try John's Roast Pork and DelRossi's, as I have heard good things. I thought Delassandro's was average. Lorenzo's in West Chester is pretty good, too.

    Book(s) you are currently reading.

Thanks....a quick search and I had it checked out of the local library within 1 hour of your recommendation! Speaking of recommendations, no less than 50% of what I read is a recommendation from the AKB, going all the way back to the BWI days, so THANK YOU all for that! I have never been...

2025 NLWC Golf Classic - State College

Didn't want to start a new thread just to ask this question, but is anyone from the Philly Main Line area going to the 2026 outing? If so, I have 200 poker chip ball markers to donate to the cause....they are Blue & White and even have a Penn State theme. Can meet you somewhere nearby to exchange.

You should also read Shirer's "Berlin Diary".....dude was front & center for all of the significant **** that went down in 1930's Europe

    Book(s) you are currently reading.

I have read maybe 1/2 dozen of Larson's books and they are all great. Nathaniel Philbrick is another author that you should check out, if you haven't already. Just finished One Summer - America 1927 by Bill Bryson....lots of interesting stuff went down that summer. Currently reading...
