    If we get Milan, we're top 10-15 easily on paper, probably higher. It's obvious a bunch of "fans" here want us to suck this year so they can have their opinions about Pope being the wrong hire validated. These fans also hoping we don't get him.

    I agree most of the vitriol is gross and didn't help things. I don't agree he should get a fourth year barring some spectacular run, but even then it would have to be one for the ages. The perception of being a coach players don't want to play for is out there whether deserved or not.

    He averaged 12 and 6 as a sophomore, has the potential for a breakout season. Players like him don't go anywhere to come off the bench.

    I'm just as down on Pope as everyone else right now, but Rancik is a very good prospect and player. I'd probably take him over Freeman.
