SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 11, FINAL WEEK OF THE REGULAR SEASON

Sounds like something Wizard of East would claim

    Simmons Ratings - Week 9

And if Simmons had Clinton ranked higher you would go with that. If Maxpreps had Clinton higher you would go with that. Associate Press, UPI, CNN, College Game Day or the Garland Gazette....pick a publication or website...any of them....whichever had Clinton ranked higher would get your full...

If The Playoffs Started Today 3A/4A

Keep in mind, this is same group that picked South Lenoir "by multiple touchdowns" over Pender last week (loss 60-14), had Midway "finding a way to win" in the game with Rosewood (found a way to winning 56-21), and even better South Lenoir beating Clinton two weeks ago (Clinton won 37-6). Many...

If The Playoffs Started Today 3A/4A

I would take any info or projections from Neuse News with a huge grain of salt. Their weekly picks are always good for a laugh.

    Clinton @ East Duplin

#1 and #4 will be in same bracket, #2 and #3 in same bracket. Reidsville will be hurt by their last two opponents records. TWA will probably move to #2 this week by jumping over the loser of Clinton/ED. Winner of Clinton/ED probably locks up #1 seed in East as both will be big favorites in...

    Clinton @ East Duplin

I could be wrong, but I think it will be much closer. Both teams seem to be playing very well recently. Both had close games with Wallace-Rose Hill. East Duplin's only blemish is to a very good Jacksonville team while Clinton lost to a one loss Midway squad and undefeated Whiteville...

    Tarboro vs Greene Central

Complete mismatch. GC has wins over three teams with a combined 2-16 record. Two of those teams it could be argued are the worst in 3A and 4A still playing football. Tarboro wins and wins easily.

    Sampson County Football Week 2

Question for Midway fan, do the Raiders intend to keep both Hobbton and Lakewood on their football schedule? I mean they are in a different classification and teams generally like to schedule teams in own classifications.

    Sampson County Football Week 2

I understand how the RPI works. Wonder if Clinton will still play Lakewood? East Bladen and Lakewood are both 2A schools. Worst two seasons? See below: 2009 3-8 2010 4-6 2011 1-9 2012 5-8 Granted it was a little while ago, but I bet you would be hard pressed to find other...

    Sampson County Football Week 2

I bet Clinton keeps Midway on the soccer schedule.

    Sampson County Football Week 2

If above statement is accurate, and Midway wanted to continue the series, why would Clinton not agree? County game, Midway usually travels well (better than Clinton recently) and as mentioned, close proximity. Any idea if they will play each other in other sports? Clinton has five conference...

    SouthWest Edgecombe coach

It is a shame what is happening with transfers all over high school sports. Gone are the days of sticking it out and playing in the area you grew up in with those you grew up with. What is just as bad is all of the attention we give to 15-18 year old kids that move, sometimes multiple times...

    Kinston vs Shelby

Wow-reading this you would think the Golden Lions are getting ready to face the 85 Bears. https://www.neusenewssports.com/news-1/the-heart-of-kinston-the-vikings-defense#google_vignette

    Kinston at James Kenan

Supporting Kinston is not the issue. If he were simply a fan (of any team) and was posting the same things, I would not have replied at all. However, he is a staff member here, writes a few articles here and there (recent one on the Kinston QB) and makes predictions. It is simply my opinion...
