    Polk's athletic program will go broke in that conference. Those schools don't travel for any sport.

    My realignment proposal

    Conference 12 would be a miserable conference for Polk with all those charter schools. Polk would never make any money off the visiting teams and the away games would have no atmosphere.

    So no one in the press box had a smart phone with internet connection? All they had to do was go to you tube and find the song and play it over the PA. But atleast they admitted their mistake.

    Hard to believe 647 is the biggest 1a school. The last time Polk was in 1a we had over 700 kids and were no where near the biggest 1a school. But I guess all these charter schools and that only 20% of the schools are in 1a now have alot to do with that. Looking forward to Polk being back in 1a

    Monroe was just playing 1a with those numbers a few years ago. Now they are in 2a and should be in 3a.

    I don't understand why teams still play just 10 games. You still get a bye if you play 11 games and then you can drop a non conference loss.
