    Higher enrollment not only improves depth but also increases the odds of having great athletes in your district. It's simple math. You only need 5 guys on the basketball court, having 1,000 kids to choose from vs 500 means your odds of having a better starting 5 are greater.

    This. There are 8-10 guys that play for each team, and each of those guys will post career highs a number of different times throughout their career. It's bound to happen every few games.

    College refs suck, that has always been the case. It's not just some grand conspiracy against Iowa basketball. Jirak also got two free throws after getting stuffed by the 7'4" guy. It goes both ways.
