    Early CCL Division Predictions

I'm not sure IL has ever had the top ranked recruit. McGee was dominant last year. Scary to think how good he could get in the next few years.

    Poster??

Sounds like the quintessential Naz story.

The Unofficial East Side VS Mount Carmel Thread

It would be very surprising if they are able to keep all 4 QBs. In today’s transfer heavy climate, it would buck the trend. The fact no one has left yet suggests that a decision has not been made.

Q of the Week: One Big Question

The transfer from Provi should help.

For those in the know, I’ve heard Plainfield South has some very good young talent. Any truth to that rumor? As for Plainfield Central, they are typically good in baseball. They struggle mightily in football and basketball. I believe they lose a ton of talent to private schools in those two...

    Byron Football

I hear ya. Money sure has changed things. Joe Benson was a 2nd round pick. He injured his shoulder prior to the Dergo Morris game, which was a big contributor to the loss. I remember him having 360 yards against Batavia in the 6A playoffs that year too.

4 MC Players commit this weekend

I think Rice is the team with the best chance of beating MC. The D line should be dominant, and they have a lot more in the tank.

That is impressive. Nice work, Jenny.

    Early CCL Division Predictions

I’d give the slight edge to Provi. I’ll be a Mustang fan for that one, though.

    Early CCL Division Predictions

Nice analysis. Just some general comments. Loyola could surprise with the return of Holocek as HC, but I can’t see them overtaking either MC or Rice, which are arguably the two best teams in the state. I think this could be Rice’s year to beat MC. The Green is loaded. Might be the most...

    MC going undefeated?

I thought it should have been Naz too. Enrollment/roster size must be why it was Marist. Just saw the divisions for basketball. 3 divisions with 9 teams in each. The top division is absolutely loaded.

    Bears

Through 5 rounds no D-linemen? Wow.

    Bears

I don’t get it either. To me, DT is a major need.

    Bears

Some head scratching picks before the Bears allowed Thieneman to drop. DT is now their biggest need. IMO, Dexter and Jarret (their starting DTs) are not even starting caliber. Huge need to get someone who can at least stop the run.

    Bears

I actually think DT may be more of a priority than DE. And safety is a must as well. On offense, I’m guessing they will draft a center on day 2 or 3. Not sure what they think of the LT’s on the roster.
