It would be easy to go a decade without much success and the program would be crippled in recruiting because other schools could point to the revolving door and tell recruits...

    You can't change the current NIL agreements for football players, those are contracts. Moving $5million or so from football to baseball would make a substantial change in baseball and football would probably remain as it has always been. Gamecock fans have shown that they will not walk away...

    Athletes being able to paid for working in Summer sports camps was a key thing argued for in the pre NIL discussions. Think girl tennis players, golfers, volleyball players, etc. being able to work and get paid for camps.
