    What we need is a Powell or Hazel who can open the floor and create his own shot from deep and then allow the other guys to drive and kick off necessary. If Clark could even shoot 35% from 3 the season would have been much different.

    Well we'll have to rebuild most of the team again next season with NIL the way it is so let's hope Sha can entice at least 1 Myles Powell or Jeremy Hazel type who can put a team on their back on offense. Powell was the last time we had a guy like that..

    If you think being 8-12 going int MSG is getting us in you're nuts and we shouldn't even be in the discussion if that is our record unless we plan on winning the tournament. We need 12-8 at a minimum to be in the discussion. We have 4 wins now. Between Butler, DePaul, Xavier each twice...

    Great player and great time at SHU. He was a bulldog in the post. Felt like he was never 6” off the floor, was undersized but found a way.

    Beat ourselves

    The fact that we shot that poorly from 3AND the FT line is a testament to our defense we had a chance. We turned them over 17x out rebounded them, out blocked them, if we even had a bad night shooting and not dreadful we win this game.

    I think they looked past us last year and why wouldn't they...we had lost 9 in a row and 14 of 15. They thumped us the next time around. We aren't sneaking up on them this time. We'll get their A effort.

    This game we need to win in the 60's. Rock fight. We aren't going to compete in a shootout. Do what we've done most of the year. Tough defense. Drive to the hoop and finish or get to the line. If we can get them into foul trouble it will help.

    I we have 3 40%+ shooters. We just need to get them on track and find them open looks. I think we need to stop passing up on them when they are open which will open up the paint. We’re an excellent driving team but opponents are packing the paint which is making those drives more difficult.

    If he can hit the open 3 like that it will open up his drives and other players. Career he’s 30%. Not terrible for a 4. Reminds me of Ish Sonogo and his late career offensive emergence.
