The Lack of Coverage Allowed by Schiano is Wild

I think Schiano's ceiling coaching in the B10 is 6 wins overall, but I don't think his record will mean much for when he is replaced. He will be replaced when the money is there. 4-8 in 2026 and no money, we see him in 2027. 6-6 and small bowl win in 2026 but money comes in, then we get a...

College football changes include tweaks to targeting, OPI rules

Hopefully Schiano can manage his timeouts so we have some late if a challenge is needed.

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

In fairness Wiscy schedule was brutal in 2025 - Alabama, Michigan, OSU, Oregon, Indiana and Iowa, all Top 25. If would be nice if we could get a win against Wiscy and USC one of these years.

Greg Schiano sits down to talk about rebuilding Rutgers football, chasing a national championship....

Interesting, when asked about his kids he didn't say how they are helping RU win but discussed how they are being developed as coaches. SMH. Shouldn't the bloated staff be cut to free up money for NIL?

OT: We may win the World Cup in 2026

Why wasn't a foul called on in England in the box when the ball hit the cross bar and a Norwegian player was just about to head it in before getting blasted from behind by two English players? Is that not reviewable because no goal was scored? Should have been a penalty shot for Norway.

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

We haven't got a single 4-star recruit. That is in no way any form of a miracle.

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

I liked Flood but was OK with his firing in 2015 due to the record and trend and his off-field issues. He seemed to get a shorter leash than many other coaches at RU though. One thing to keep in mind in 2015 is the schedule was tough, 1 OSU, 4 Mich St, 16 Mich and PSU, Neb and Wisc. The only...

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

Also remember Schiano took almost the entire coaching staff with him, so Flood had to rebuild the staff.

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

I am disappointed Zinn hasn't reigned him in. 2nd in staff salary and finishing tied for 14th should result in changes.

Greg extension poll lifted from Round Table, thank you RAC93

I wouldn't extend under any realistic circumstance. He is 60 and we know what we have with him. I would be happy with 6-6 from him as long as he is here because that, maybe 7-5, is his ceiling. At least we bowl.

BB Recruiting Kansas State transfer center Dorin Buca commits to Rutgers

7'2", understands the pick and roll, knows most times he doesn't have to jump to block shots, very good backup C pickup.

    Ray Rice graduates

Maybe Schiano will give him a coaching job now? Schiano's career trajectory would have been much lower without him.

Will Rutgers Move on From Schiano

I look at this as a test for Zinn. She should have told Schiano one son max and cut the staff way back, leave money for NIL. Schiano learned from Paterno what its like to be the exalted FB HC, but that guy won stuff and built a library. Zinn needs to put her foot down on his money grab for...

OT: Plane crashes into fire truck at LaGuardia

Shouldn't it be policy for land vehicles to stop and look both ways before crossing a runway in one of the world's busiest airports? I am also interested in the speed of the fire truck, seems kind of fast in this environment.
