Talk of proposing a expanded College football playoff
It should be a 6 team playoff with the top two seeds receiving a bye into the second round. places huge importance back on regular season games for seeding purposes. It also allows the couple of fringe teams we see every year to come in and compete.- piercebs

"Basically an abbreviated schedule makes it easier to go undefeated." Agree, it will be interesting to see how the strength of schedule effects the playoff committees decision as to who are the top 4 teams.
