Just started The Demon of Unrest by Erik Larson. Have read all of his books and
loved them - especially Devil in the White City and Isaac’s Storm. Oh, and In the Garden of Beasts.
Read the book 10 years ago - saw the movie yesterday. Thought it was well done. Movies are never as good as the book, but this one stayed true to the primary story line . enjoyed it.
Skiing in Colorado. Ours was the first plane to land in Pittsburgh after the blizzard. Dug our car out of a snow drift and foolishly drove home - most roads were closed, but we made it! Oh, to be young and stupid again😁.
The ‘we need to run faster’ comment was made by Dave Wannstadt at halftime of a Pitt game. When I heard James say we need to be bigger, that was the first thing I thought of.
