    Those are absolutely atrocious QB stats, and that is not a small sample. How in the world did Riley become known as a QB guru.

    Doesn't really look like PI to me. Westerkamp just stopped running and there was minimal contact, if there was any contact at all. If you call PI there you've got to call it on virtually every play in a football game.

    You say, "He wasn't supposed to throw the ball but it was my fault for putting him in that situation." You tell the truth but take the blame. The reason you get paid 3 million dollars a year is to figure this stuff out. It's really not that difficult.

    Riley never recruited well at OSU. Now he is a 62 y/o "Weekend at Bernie's" on the sidelines. Is he gonna recruit better here just because "it's Nebraska"?

    Riley is a nice guy and a terrible fit at Nebraska: Recruited poorly at OSU, has never been an energetic recruiter, at age 62 is a short timer no matter what and other teams will use that to negative recruit against NU, has no ties to traditionally strong Nebraska recruiting base other than...

    To summarize....we hired a mediocre coach, but he'll win here because, uh, well, uh..........because we're Nebraska.
