    A Manning with wheels?!

I remember his grandfather Archie Manning was quite mobile in the NFL for the Saints. Really good QB during his time.

    Not Very Encouraging Opinion

not a Finebaum fan and I do live here in Bham, Alabama so I hear the Bama talk locally all the time 24x7. It's painful. I did not think his assessment of Nebraska was too far off as it stands the last decade. He did say we have "real" fans and did say this about the '95 team in a previous...

    The Dodgers get Yamamoto

Dodgers are blessed by that big Dodger Blue in the sky!!! Think Lasorda said that years ago when I was a kid.

double stripes on pants but remove the stripes altogether on the jerseys that way, you don't have mix matching stripes between jersey and pants. :)

    Beating OU means more

It's sad this generation has no concept of how big this game was and how high the stakes were for decades when this game was played.

Tyson in his prime vs Foreman in his prime

I would agree to this to a certain point. Lewis before Emanuel Steward was a completely different boxer than after Emanuel Steward became his trainer. Lewis became a much better and tougher fighter after Steward, IMO.

Tyson in his prime vs Foreman in his prime

Tyson was spectacular when he came onto the scene. However, look at who else he had to fight at that time? To me, no one comes to mind as a great fighter during Tyson's prime. Holyfield was still a cruiserweight and Lewis and Bowe had not come around yet. These are the same reasons Larry...

Tyson in his prime vs Foreman in his prime

People forget how great Larry Holmes was in his prime. Just putting this out here. Holmes biggest problem was he was the champ that came right after Ali and before the emergence of Tyson.

Why did Bill Callahan fail at Nebraska?

No doubt he could recruit and Pelini benefited from that the first few years. I distinctly remember once Ganz took over at QB late in Callahan's tenure, the offense took off. Ganz gave that offense somewhat of a true "dual threat" QB rather than the traditional pro style. Makes you wonder how...

    Best #11 in Husker history

I vote Steve Taylor. Did he not wear #11 as a freshman before switching to #9 afterwards?

    I Formation

Not sure if this was mentioned but did you also notice the double wing formation with the single fullback w. QB under center? Similar to the Paul Johnson GaTech offense? Think that came with #26 too. Loved seeing the I-formation too and with success!
