    It’s not just receipts, it needs context. Even if he proves he offered 100k we don’t know if Panini or another store offered more. Maybe he was rejected because a store in Lexington offered $25 per auto. Why wouldn’t Antonio take a better deal?

    It’s different because of his competition. A 10k offer to a second string receiver with no other offers is a genuine donation. A 1 million offer to a top ten pick who is goi g to get paid a lot more from Panini or Topps/Fanatics is a different story. Why would basketball handle it the same way?

    I agree Reeves deserves to make money. But you’re talking about how you signed over your rights otherwise Levis could have lost a 4-5 million dollar a year contract after he was drafted. You were gracious enough to do it, but Cal doesn’t know that would happen again. I’m sure you mean well...

    Have there been any reasons given why the auto offer wasn’t accepted? It seems odd at first, but what if they were holding out for Topps or another store to pay for the exclusive?
