We update Rutgers' depth chart with Richie O’Leary on Rutgers

It always irks me when guys play 5 games and lose their redshirt year. I know there is talk about going to a 5 year plan, so it may become moot. Still, just seems pointless for guys like Archie and McCleary (and costly for them).

OT: 2026 PGA Tour Thread PGA Championship Week

I'm assuming Gotterup is a lock for the Presidents Cup team as long as he doesn't implode this summer. Such an impressive climb over the past 5 or so years. He's got such a unique game with the open stance and his general swing pattern. I'd duff every shot if I tried that lol.

Basketball Report: NCAA votes to expand NCAA Tournament for men, women to 76 teams

They're diluting the golden goose. March madness is arguably the best sports event in the world. Adding games only makes it more confusing, will take away the energy from the Thursday-Sunday games, and just adds a bunch of mediocre teams that, in this transfer portal area, probably have their...

    Board traffic

Forget about NIL, transfer portal, etc., I think this program is just not built to survive a Chris Ash era. That destroyed any momentum with fringe fans and killed all the Big 10 hype.

Basketball Rutgers Basketball ranks Top 20 nationally in the Transfer Portal

At the very least, it's nice to see that a site thinks highly of Sydnor. I wish Pike could land one top 70ish guy, but it is what it is.

BB Recruiting 2026 Rutgers Basketball Transfer Portal Tracker

Curious to see where he ends up. He's probably best suited for a strong A10 program.

    Portal Targets

Going a bit off-topic, but our AD needs to keep an eye on the Merrimack coach. He's had at least 3 players crush it there as underclassmen before moving up. Impressive stuff for a program that wasn't even eligible for the tournament for a few years.

Is Kenny Fletcher coming back for another year ?

If he finds the right situation I could see him having an NFL career. I thought he did a great job considering he only played about 17 games at tight end.

Football 2026 Rutgers Football Win Total: Odds released for pivotal season under Greg Schiano

That stinks to see but I'm not shocked. I try to approach every season with optimism, but the transfer portal haul seems uninspiring.

    Keepers for next year

My haphazard financial analysis: 1. Mid-tier B10 starter money: Francis 2. Low-tier B10 starter money: Mark 3. High-end B10 backup money: Buchanan, Powers, probably Davis? 4. I have no idea what you do with these guys: Grant, Zrno 5. Mid-tier B10 backup money: Nwuli, probably Dortch 6. Fill...

Who would you spend NIL $ on for next year (current roster)

This is a cool breakdown. Crazy thought: when do we start seeing tanking in college basketball? Could it make sense for cash strapped programs like RU to go all in once every 2 to 3 years as opposed to throwing 7 figures at Tariq Francis so we win 5 conference games instead of 2?

After transfer portal closes, Rutgers is still looking for players at these positions

I'm surprised by the lack of concern at the LB spot. Wright was banged up all year and Walker was questionable at best even before his major knee injury.

Is Carson Beck actually a student at Miami ?

No classes is a bit wild, but Matt Leinart was actively joking about taking only a ballroom dancing class like 20 years ago. I think Joe Burrow did a similar thing at LSU his last year. I'd imagine this is going to end up with football teams only being attached to schools by name and with all...

    Cam Spencer

Unbelievable how the dominoes have fallen since this picture. I think that team was destined to fall back slightly, no matter the circumstances, but no one could have predicted: 1. Mag injury 2. Baye decommitment 3. Spencer and Mulcahy abrupt transfers. 4. Griffiths bust 5. Whatever last...

    Cam Spencer

Love Spencer's game. I always laugh thinking about NJHawk writing out some 8 paragraph analysis indicating that his transfer to UCONN wasn't a big deal and that Austin Williams was a better fit for the system.
