I have been watching Trent for several years and listened to him on Cuz Stricklands podcast a few years ago. You can tell he is a good fellow and one to root for to be successful.
It was nasty and definitely uncalled for. I’m surprised the ref had to wait for VAR to confirm serious foul play. He very likely ruined that young man’s career.
Wait until he moves up to U14. This is where the kids (from watching the pros) start flopping. I can't stand it and sadly the majority of the parents don't recognize or refuse to reckognize it.
I would like to see the play. There are 3 circumstances where there aren't offside, Corner, Throw-In and a Goal Kick. Typically when you see offiside on a corner the ball was played back to a player after the kick whom is now in an offside position due to defenders moving up the field.
I was at the game and at first my thoughts were I’d rather face Cincinnati as the UL had quite a few loud rowdy fans. Once Cincinnati saw UL pitcher for the third time they started tagging him and it was ballgame. Also Cincy starting pitcher was not impressive. I wonder if that was their ace or not.
